We are a small, friendly practice, which believes in providing good quality service at a reasonable cost.
We think our approach is what clients want most and is the reason that most of our clients have been with us for a long time. Leonards has two Solicitors, David Lingard and Lorna Turner. You can find out a bit more about each below.
David Lingard
David qualified as a Solicitor in 1977 and is a Director. He deals with Domestic and Commercial Property, Liquor Licensing, Wills and Estates.
David is a former member of the Council of the Law Society of Scotland and is Legal Adviser to a number of local voluntary and commercial organisations including Lanarkshire Enterprise Services Limited and Hamilton Taxi Owners' Association.
Lorna Turner - Director
Lorna obtained her Law degree and Diploma in Legal Practice from Strathclyde University and qualified as a Solicitor in 2009. She joined Leonards in June 2017 as an Associate. Lorna runs the court department and deals with civil matters including family law, personal injury, debt, housing and employment. She also deals with criminal cases. Lorna has a wealth of experience in these areas and one of her cases took her to the Supreme Court in London.
Lorna's depth of experience enables her to provide comprehensive advice to all of her clients. She will deal with your case in a sensitive manner, providing the best advice for your situation. She will keep you updated throughout your case so that you always know what is happening. She is delighted to offer her skills to both new and existing clients alike. Lorna is also a Notary Public.
